2000 was a thermally and pluviometrically dry and warm year, with thermal and heliothermal indices clearly above average.

Despite a vegetative cycle marked by scarce precipitation — except for a normal June and a rainy September — high temperatures and a pronounced drought index favoured high sugar potential in the grapes, maintaining a fast and complete ripening.

2009 was a pluviometrically generous year, with abundant winter and spring precipitation that ensured excellent water reserves in the vineyard.

The absence of flowering and fruit-set problems, together with cool temperatures during ripening, led to a slow but steady evolution of the grapes, resulting in an exceptionally high-quality vintage.
