A night when looking at the sky will be more worthwhile than ever.
When August reaches its most intimate moment, the sky over Penedès becomes the stage for one of the oldest and most fascinating spectacles: the Perseid meteor shower, also known as the Tears of Saint Lawrence. Under a sky that whispers wishes, Jean Leon celebrates a unique night where the art of wine meets the immensity of the universe.
On Saturday, August 16, the winery invites you to experience a sensory evening among the vineyards, where astronomy, music, and gastronomy blend in perfect harmony. A night not only to be admired but to be tasted, heard… and remembered.
Here’s how we’ll live Perseids Night 2025 at Jean Leon
The evening will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a welcome glass of wine that invites guests to pause time and let their senses take the lead. Amid vineyards steeped in history and nature, guests will be welcomed in a place where the earth and sky come together.
The first toast will be followed by a masterclass led by astronomer Joan A. Català from the Fabra Observatory in Barcelona. He’ll reveal the secrets of the universe, the celestial origin of this starry phenomenon, and its emotional resonance.
Throughout the night, a telescope will be available for guests to explore the sky beyond the visible, guided by the expert’s voice and the silence of the cosmos.
After stargazing, pleasure will return to earth with an open-air dinner under the stars, paired with a curated selection of the winery’s most iconic wines: Jean Leon Nativa Xarel·lo, Jean Leon 3055 Rosé, Jean Leon 3055 Merlot-Petit Verdot, Jean Leon Vinya Gigi, and Jean Leon Vinya Le Havre. Each glass, a dialogue between history, the present moment, and the stars.
The evening will end with music by DJ Jordi Vilella, wrapping up the event with smooth and immersive rhythms. A perfect close where everything flows—conversation, wine, wishes… and stars.
Jean Leon and our commitment to the arts
At Jean Leon, wine is more than a drink—it’s a cultural expression, a form of art, and a language that connects people to the landscape, to history… and to themselves. That’s why we create experiences where astronomy, music, gastronomy, and nature intertwine.
Because to celebrate a night under the stars is also to celebrate the art of living—intensely and authentically.
