A Spotify playlist for enjoying good wine

If you're a Spotify user, you know the app makes daily song, artist or album suggestions based on your musical tastes. What the app doesn't know (for now) is your taste in wine.

This is why at Jean Leon we put together a complete playlist that we think goes beautifully with a good bottle of wine. Of course, we'd love it to be one of ours, but that is beyond our control (for now).

To avoid any misunderstanding: this isn't music for a romantic dinner or jump-starting your Saturday morning. Spotify already does a fine job recommending those kinds of lists. The playlist we have made for you is versatile. The wine, of course, plays a pivotal role.

Put it on at a party, during after-work drinks at home, dinner with friends or your loved one, or simply let it play in the background as you prepare a Saturday or Sunday midday aperitif.

We've left it open to allow for a dynamic playlist. We can build it together with our songs and yours. So if you feel a particular song is missing, you can always add it. But remember, the longer the list, the more wine will be drunk.

We should mention that you won't find too many classics in our selection. Jean Leon lived during a golden age with jazz as its soundtrack, and though we still love jazz, we decided to pick more contemporary artists this time.

We wanted to take it in a more modern direction. We're sure that many of you already know the artists and songs. For those of you who don't, it is our great pleasure to introduce you to Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Jose González... Got that bottle of 3055 ready?
