What is wine tourism? Wine tourism is wine tourism. If we go to the official definition according to the RAE, it is tourism through wine growing and production areas, with visits to the vineyards and wineries, and tasting of their wines. Although many think that this type of tourism can only be done on good weather days, the truth is that it can be enjoyed 365 days a year.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

For this reason, today we propose 4 wine tourism plans that can be done in our territory at any time of the year. To do this, we have the ideas suggested by the friends of Pened\u00e8s Turisme. Plans for all audiences and ages.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Slow Bike Route Pened\u00e8s 360\u00ba<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pened\u00e8s360\u00ba<\/strong><\/a> invites us to discover El Pened\u00e8s by bicycle, to understand the immensity and contrasts of our territory. It offers us 3 types of Slow Bike route: the original, the mountain and the road. The three routes, which you can download from the website, are routes to do by bike and get to know the Pened\u00e8s vineyards while you do a pleasant pedaling. To make it completely slow, they recommend enjoying the landscape, stopping to do a wine tasting in a winery or enjoying the gastronomy in a small charming town. In a camper through the Pened\u00e8s<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Traveling in a caravan is becoming a way of life and travel for many people. It is an ideal modality for those who want to know the territory in depth and travel from one place to another with the “house” on top. Traveling in a motor home means connecting with nature, finding the charm of small towns and experiencing them among their inhabitants. In addition, to make it even easier, the Pened\u00e8s has 12 areas<\/a> in which the vineyards and the wine are the protagonists. Do you dare to discover them?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A whole day in Vilafranca del Pened\u00e8s<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

It is without a doubt the capital of wine, and as such, it offers endless activities throughout the year. What’s more, you may need more than one day to enjoy it, but it offers a very complete offer to enjoy a whole day of wine tourism. Without going any further, you can start at the Wine Museum (Vinseum<\/a>) and continue with an urban route, to discover the city through wine and tapas. If you want to get to know it a little more from a different point of view, you can take the theatrical modernist route<\/a>, or the medieval route with augmented reality<\/a>. The town has a wide range to discover in detail the character of a city with history.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In the Pened\u00e8s there are more than 70 wineries that can be visited<\/a>, from micro-bodegas to the big international brands. There are warehouses of all types and sizes. It is a territory that brings together a hundred different experiences, and they have also been unified in this portal: Shop de Pened\u00e8s Turismo<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
