Held at the very end of summer, it is our way of welcoming the fall season. For the twelfth year in a row, Jean Leon has organized a Cinematic Harvest. It is a get-together of  actors and actresses who spend the day at the winery, having fun and seeing how the harvest is done at Jean Leon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jeanleon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/3_JL-Vendimia-de-Cine_Carlota-Olcina-850x567.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32987\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year&#8217;s guests included renowned actors like\nMiquel Fern\u00e1ndez, Carlota Olcina, Montse Alcoverro, Peter Vives, Merc\u00e8 Montal\u00e0,\nCristina Brondo, and Miriam Marcet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event, held last Saturday, kicked off at 10 am with a country-style breakfast. Then our guests were kitted out with straw hats and scissors and headed off into the vineyard to pick Petit Verdot. Afterwards, they formed teams to face off in a traditional grape-pickers&#8217; contest. This consists in stomping the grapes they picked, and the team that manages to get the most must before the clock runs out, wins. The winners received a case of Vinya Le Havre Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva, personally delivered by Jean Leon&#8217;s director, Mireia Torres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jeanleon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/6_JL-Vendimia-de-Cine_Concurso-850x567.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32975\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After bottling and labeling the wine from last year&#8217;s\ngrape-stomping contest, everyone sat down to enjoy a harvest lunch paired with\nJean Leon Vinya Gigi Chardonnay 2016 and Jean Leon Vinya Le Havre Cabernet\nSauvignon Reserva 2013. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ending on a high note: Vinya La Scala<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rounding out this year&#8217;s edition of the Cinematic Harvest was a toast with an exceptional Jean Leon Vinya La Scala Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva: the 1988 vintage in a six-liter bottle.
