Once more this year, we at <strong>Jean Leon<\/strong>, in partnership with <strong>Time Out<\/strong>, will be bringing you what has already become a fixture of the summer season: <strong>Hotels de Cinema<\/strong>, a series of screenings of classic Hollywood films accompanied by a glass of wine on some of the best terraces of Barcelona\u2019s hotels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Passion for wine, passion for film<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As some of you already know, our relationship with cinema has its roots in our origins. Our founder Jean Leon was a highly regarded figure in 1950s Hollywood, where he ended up becoming the close friend of stars such as Frank Sinatra, James Dean, and even Marilyn Monroe. Born in Santander, Spain in 1928, a sequence of exciting events brought him to Beverly Hills, where he ended up opening his own restaurant, unleashing a passion for wine that would take him back to Spain, to the Pened\u00e8s region.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/d5VJmbc9J9I\" width=\"100%\" height=\"415\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Hotels de Cinema<\/strong> series goes back to the essence of <strong>Jean Leon<\/strong> with showings of classic Hollywood movies each Thursday evening until\u00a0<strong>July 25<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>. First session took place yesterday, <strong>June<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>20<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>at Hotel Pullman Skipper terrace.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hotels de Cinema 2019 schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thursday, June 27<sup>th<\/sup>: Hotel NH Costanza \u2013 <em>East of Eden<\/em><br \/>\nThursday, July 4<sup>th<\/sup>: Hotel Arts \u2013 <em>To Catch a Thief<\/em><br \/>\nThursday, July 11<sup>th<\/sup>: Hotel Renaissance \u2013 <em>Sunset Boulevard<\/em><br \/>\nThursday, July 18<sup>th<\/sup>: Skybar, Hotel Iberostar \u2013 <em>Suddenly, Last Summer<\/em><br \/>\nThursday, July 25<sup>th<\/sup>: Hotel Fairmont JCI \u2013 <em>Roman Holiday <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Entry to a <strong>Hotels de Cinema <\/strong>session costs 8 euros and includes a glass of <strong>Jean Leon <\/strong>wine and popcorn.
