And that is also true for lovers of good wine and food. Grab a pencil, a piece of paper&#8230; and a glass of wine. Napa has become a mecca for wine lovers, not only because of its top-notch wines, but thanks to the perfect fusion of gastronomy, wine and tourism. <em>Decanted<\/em> is a must-see doc for anyone who loves good wine and food.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/es\/title\/70273636\">Somm<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/79ceJp-7DFI?rel=0\" width=\"100%\" height=\"415\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>A thrilling documentary that follows the lives of four sommeliers as they prepare for a shot at the master sommelier title.\u00a0 This is an incredibly difficult exam, and the documentary reveals the knowledge, traits and techniques of the contestants in fascinating detail. Available on Amazon Prime and Netflix.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/es-en\/title\/80029708\">Sour Grapes<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hPUYuwSRwB8?rel=0\" width=\"100%\" height=\"415\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Sour Grapes <\/em>explores the world of fraudulent wine auctions through a man called Rudy Kurniawan, one of the wine world&#8217;s most notorious imposters. For years Kurniawan adulterated the world&#8217;s most expensive wines in his home lab until a small-scale winegrower from Burgundy unmasked him. An unbelievable but true story that is well worth knowing. Available on Netflix.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rtve.es\/alacarta\/videos\/gran-reserva\/\">Gran Reserva<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s go back in time a bit to look at this Spanish series which went on the air in 2010 and told the story of three winemaking families in La Rioja. The cast included big-name Spanish talent, including Emilio Guti\u00e9rrez Caba, \u00c1ngela Molina and Trist\u00e1n Ulloa. If you&#8217;re interested in checking it out, you can find it on the RTVE <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rtve.es\/alacarta\/videos\/gran-reserva\/\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mondovino<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This documentary gives us an inside look at the wine world, analyzing the industry and all of its gurus. It provides fascinating insights into how and why wine is made based on the continent, tradition and size of the business. A critical reflection that made a lot of noise upon its release.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.millennialsandwine.com\/\">The Wine Van<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-23929\" src=\"https:\/\/jeanleon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/thewinevan-850x513.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"513\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Amazon Prime Video has released <em>The Wine Van<\/em> in the US and UK, a series that strives to make the wine world appealing to young millennials.\u00a0 It stars Ian Chapman who, in the first season, travels to wineries in different Spanish appellations of origin, including Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Toro, Bierzo and Tierra de Le\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>The chapters are all about five minutes long and shot in English. Most of them ask very basic questions that shed light on subjects like the harvest or different grape varieties. A great choice for wine world novices.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/es\/title\/80033868\">A Year in Champagne<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zhJ6lC2Tr3k?rel=0\" width=\"100%\" height=\"415\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Our final documentary is available on Netflix and shines the spotlight on champagne and the prestigious region known to wine lovers and gourmets the world over.
