It\u2019s summer and (almost) anything goes \u2013 even going up to the terrace of a hotel in Barcelona and watching a classic movie outdoors.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Cinematic Hotel&#039;s Tour\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Xep3C7zovUs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Which is what we\u2019ve been doing since the end of June and the entire month of July. We\u2019ve chosen the most exclusive terraces of 5-star hotels in Barcelona to host \u201cHoteles de Cine\u201d: An activity designed for those who love film, nice views, cool plans, and, of course, good wines.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2066\" src=\"https:\/\/jeanleon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_6292.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6292\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been a hit with the audiences, with each showing attended by around 40 people who enjoyed the best movie classics in their original versions with Spanish subtitles, along with a glass of Jean Leon 3055. Chardonnay, Ros\u00e9, or Merlot-Petit Verdot, depending on their taste. And they didn\u2019t just enjoy the art of film and good wine, they also had the opportunity to take in amazing views of Barcelona from a bird\u2019s eye level. Lights, sea, stars, iconic buildings&#8230; an exceptional skyline. And to make it an even more authentic moviegoer experience, there was also popcorn available. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2067\" src=\"https:\/\/jeanleon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_6305.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6305\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Hotel Arts, Hotel Pullman, Novotel City, The Gates Hotel Diagonal Barcelona, and NH Calder\u00f3n all took part in this initiative, where we screened six movie classics starring the great actors and actresses of Hollywood\u2019s Golden Age, who were great friends of Jean Leon: <em>Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid<\/em>, <em>West Side Story<\/em>, <em>Some Like It Hot<\/em>, <em>The Seven Year Itch<\/em>, <em>Breakfast at Tiffany\u2019s<\/em>, and <em>A Streetcar Named Desire<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This was definitely an activity that perfectly combined two of Jean Leon\u2019s great passions: film and wine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Plans come in thick and fast in summer: Barbecues at friends\u2019 houses, al fresco dinners, weekend getaways (and longer), family meals, starting or finishing a TV series&#8230; It\u2019s up to you to choose the plan.
