<\/strong>\u00a0Marina Tuset, Facebook<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Marina Tuset<\/strong><\/p>\n Born just outside Barcelona in Sant Vicen\u00e7 dels Horts 22 years ago, Marina has a whole future ahead of her: She\u2019s about to finish her studies at one of the most prestigious music schools in the world, Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, and her voice is starting to gain recognition on the national jazz scene thanks to her versatility and talent. Her album Sweet Lights<\/em>, released in 2016, features songs full of soul and jazz rhythms and melodies. She is undoubtedly a diamond in the rough that will surely give us lots to talk about for years to come.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n From the same generation as Marina Tuset, V\u00edctor is a singer-songwriter as well as saxophonist and clarinetist. Born in Barcelona 21 years ago, at the age of 7 he began taking piano lessons, and three years later started learning clarinet. After attending ESMUC (the Catalan College of Music) in Barcelona, V\u00edctor received a scholarship to study Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee. Shortly after his arrival, Alejandro Sanz chose him to be part of his band as saxophonist and backup singer, taking him on tour in Spain and Latin America. One dream come true, there are still many left for V\u00edctor to achieve.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Clara Peya<\/strong><\/p>\n Older than the two other artists we\u2019ve mentioned so far, Clara Peya has still only just entered her 30s. A pianist and composer, critics consider her to be one of the most original and unique artists that has appeared on the Spanish music scene. She graduated from ESMUC in 2007 after studying piano there, and also did further education in jazz at Barcelona\u2019s Taller de M\u00fasics School for Higher Music Education. For over 12 years she was a student of Leonid Sintsev at the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory in St. Petersburg. She has brought out seven albums since 2010, with the latest, OCEANES<\/em>, having been released in 2017.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Judit was born 26 years ago up the coast from Barcelona in Vilassar de Mar, and already has two albums under her belt. The first came out in 2014 under the title Tot el que he vist<\/em> (Everything I\u2019ve seen<\/em>), and is a journey through various musical styles such as jazz, African rhythms, and folk music. Two years later she released her latest work, Un segon<\/em> (One Second<\/em>), chosen as the Best Album of 2016 by readers of the online Catalan music magazine La Tornada<\/em> and the 12th<\/sup> best album according to the critics of the Enderrock Awards given by the Catalan music magazine of the same name. The song \u201cMireia\u201d, featured on this album, won the 2016 Enderrock Award by popular vote in the \u201cBest non-traditional folk song\u201d category.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Still not even in his 30s, Miguel was born in the Madrid suburb of Pozuelo de Alarc\u00f3n in 1988, and at the age of 7 began playing piano at his town\u2019s municipal school of music. Just after turning 18, he enrolled in the Creative Music School of Madrid to delve deeper into his favorite style, jazz. A few years later he decided to take the definitive step in his career and became a student at Berklee College of Music, and after five years he left Boston having graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in music production and composition, a specialization in orchestral conducting, and two honors: the Brian Eno Production Award and the Excellence in Electronic Production Award. He currently lives in Los Angeles and collaborates with the composer Fil Eisler at Warner Brothers Studios, as well as working as a composer and music producer for American TV ads.<\/p>\n If you didn\u2019t know them before, now you do.
