We love the Pened\u00e8s. It is the land that shapes the distinctive identity of our wines. We love the place, the vineyards, the landscape and, of course, the wines we make.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is why we want to invite you to our home. We want to share it with you, along with our philosophy on winemaking and more. How? With one of our many wine tourism activities<\/strong>, which we’ve been offering for years. Below we\u2019ve highlighted the most popular ones so far.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. SEGWAY TOUR<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We were the first to introduce a Segway tour in the Pened\u00e8s region. For years now, we’ve been using the Segway to offer a comfortable, original and sustainable tour of our vineyards. The mountain-style Segway moves easily across the rugged terrain. <\/span><\/p>\n

As a mode of transport, it is a lot of fun, and the activity is very popular with the region’s tourism agencies. After a tour of the Jean Leon estate, the spotlight moves from the vineyard to our wines. Every activity we offer concludes with a wine tasting. <\/span><\/p>\n

After all, the wine is the end result of all the work we do in the vineyard and winery, and a tasting is the best way of experiencing it firsthand.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2. ELECTRIC BICYCLE TOURS<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We also offer an electric bicycle tour from Vilafranca del Pened\u00e8s to our winery in collaboration with two companies (Burricleta and BikeEmotions). <\/span><\/p>\n

The route is slightly longer, but the mode of transport is equally sustainable and comfortable, giving you the chance to enjoy the landscape of the Pened\u00e8s without too much physical effort. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3. DEMYSTIFYING WINE TASTING<\/b><\/p>\n

We also like to encourage our visitors’ interest in the wine world and help them embark on the adventure of wine tasting. <\/span><\/p>\n

This is why we developed a very educational and entertaining activity that shows participants the steps to evaluate a wine in terms of sight, smell and taste. <\/span><\/p>\n

The activity takes about two hours and fifteen minutes, and participants get to taste all seven of our wines.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

4. CREATE YOUR OWN WINE!<\/b><\/p>\n

This DIY experience is tailor-made for the most inquisitive and creative minds. <\/span><\/p>\n

We provide access to all of the grape varieties we use to make our wines, plus the chance to freely design your own personal blend. The activity is great fun, and participants get to take home a completely customized bottle of Jean Leon.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. JEAN LEON AND GASTRONOMY<\/b><\/p>\n

Gastronomy plays a crucial role in this activity. \u201c7 brides for 7 brothers\u201d is a unique gastronomic game designed to delight the senses. <\/span>Diners are blindfolded and served 7 tapas and 7 Jean Leon wines. <\/span><\/p>\n

The challenge lies in identifying the flavors, textures and aromas. The experience is designed to playfully engage our senses in order to explore and perceive which type of tapa and style of wine make for the best match on our palate.<\/span><\/p>\n

6. ON CHEESE AND WINE<\/b><\/p>\n

We stay with our gastronomic theme to explore the classic pairing of wine and cheese. These friends and allies represent two cornerstones of the Mediterranean diet. <\/span><\/p>\n

Every wine is unique and so is every cheese, which makes experimenting with different combinations of the two a thrilling endeavor. <\/span><\/p>\n

The tasting’s cheese selection is irresistible: aged Marantona, Brie Meaux, Mazeris and goat cheese Briqueta.<\/span><\/p>\n

7. THE JEAN LEON HARVEST. GET STOMPING!<\/b><\/p>\n

We close our list with our most popular tourist activity. Here participants get to enjoy a<\/span> personal hands-on experience of the age-old tradition of pressing grapes…with your feet. Team work, plus lots of laughs!<\/span><\/p>\n
