August is synonymous with sun, beach, holidays (for some), cold beer and chilled wine. If you ask us, we\u2019d recommend our 3055 Chardonnay or Ros\u00e9. \ud83d\ude09<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides giving our wine recommendations for summer sunsets, we\u2019d like to share five beaches that provide the perfect setting to enjoy them. Beaches aren\u2019t the exclusive terrain of mojitos, gin & tonics or <\/span>tinto de verano; <\/span><\/i>a good wine is equally enjoyable amid sand and sea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ses Illetes beach on Formentera<\/b><\/p>\n

Its credentials are impossible to beat. The beach was recently named best beach in Europe and seventh worldwide by TripAdvisor users. It is one of the most stunning sand beaches on the small island of Formentera. Crystal-clear water, white sand and an incomparable location make it a unique setting to contemplate the sunset, glass of wine in hand. <\/span><\/p>\n

La Concha beach in San Sebastian<\/b><\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t a secluded beach; far from it, in fact. What makes it special is its location right outside the old town of San Sebastian, a city whose gastronomic good taste is on a par with its dishes, <\/span>pinchos, <\/span><\/i>and meat. <\/span><\/p>\n

Es Trenc beach on Majorca<\/b><\/p>\n

Compared to La Concha, Es Trenc comes as close to unspoiled as it gets. It isn\u2019t the most popular beach among tourists, which makes it special. Watching the sunset at Es Trenc with an ice bucket and a chilled Ros\u00e9 3055 is simply spectacular. <\/span><\/p>\n

Papagayo beach on Lanzarote<\/b><\/p>\n

Papagayo beach is one of the few coves on Lanzarote that offers true tranquility. Located on the island\u2019s southern side, it is sheltered from the wind. This makes for a very peaceful beach, lapped by a wonderfully calm sea. The perfect place to relax and open a bottle of Chardonnay. <\/span><\/p>\n

Zahara de los Atunes beach in Cadiz<\/b><\/p>\n

This Andalusian beach offers us one of the most magnificent sunsets on Earth. In addition to taking in the landscape, water-sports-loving visitors will find this an ideal place to practice their passion. The <\/span>chiringuitos <\/span><\/i>(typical beach bars) scattered along the beach are a delight for anyone who loves good food and drink. <\/span><\/p>\n
